‘Encouraging us to be more independent and the
freedom to think and act on our own’. This, I would
say, is the best thing I felt about SSN - something that
you get only in handpicked colleges in the country.
Here, our interests are given both the due respect and
priority. Let it be academics or sports or art or music
or any other thing. The point is to do what we like and
to give our best to it.
Most memorable moments:
Every year, we students organize various events, like
the Tech Symposiums, Intercollegiate culturals, Social
Awareness rallies, Spending time with inmates of an
orphanage, at the college, helping out school students
in the lesser privileged villages nearby – the list is
endless. As one of the alumni who was involved in every
single event of these, I relish all these opportunities
that SSN gave me.
In most colleges, it is the management that plays a
major part in activities such as these. But at SSN, our
management and the staff encourage we students to manage
100% of all these events –finance, chief guests, posters
and banners, this and that – on a magnitude that will
definitely be next only to the IIT and the Anna
University in the state. All these create in us a truly
unwavering mind, focusing on targets, AND a fearless yet
composed attitude, apart from teaching the knack of
acting in a team.
Equally memorable are the scholarships awarded – encouraging
students to perform better.
I can never forget the day when I got the academic
scholarship – for two reasons (apart from the obvious
monetary benefit!) – The confidence that it gave me AND,
more than the first, the sense of pride that I saw in my
parents! Overall, SSN serves the purpose of education by
instilling in every individual a blend of superior
knowledge and virtuous character, thereby giving us a
great platform to move ahead in life!

We celebrated our study in SSNCE. We had full
freedom to express our ideas and thoughts. Our knowledge
and skills were enlightened with care by well qualified
and magnificent professors, lectures and other
laboratory associates. We enjoyed every moment of our
college life with the pleasant centralized air-cooled
library, state-of-art auditorium and all other
facilities provided with a professional touch by admin
and management team. The entire institution is evolving
as the single soul with same objective as providing
world class experience in learning and light up each and
every student to realize their dream and goal. We could
feel the silent revolution as SSNCE will be the bench
mark to the world wide professional institutions. Our
college is not just made us an Engineer, It molded as a
responsible human being.
